Personal History

My name is Zac Bowers, I'm 27 years old, and have a passion for riding dirt bikes. I've been riding since I was 10 years old.  Currently I work full time as a coal miner for Consol Energy as an electrician/mechanic. I try to get out and ride as much as I can in my free time.  I first started racing in 2011 on a 2006 CRF 250 and now I'm on an 2013 RMZ 450. In April of 2014 I had a crash that I suffered a broken back from. I made a full recovery and have been riding great since then.

Riding Goals

My goal for the 2017 racing season is to attend as many races as I can, and I have hopes of training through the winter and spring of 2017 to try to qualify in the 25 plus class at Loretta's. I would like to do so with the help and support of any sponsors that would be willing to help me achieve my goal.

Competitive Highlights

4-24-16 Mx213 Open C - 3rd overall. http://www.tracksideresults.com/omxa/class.asp?c=40&e=10&s=1

7-23-16 Wiseco super series Plus 25 - 2nd overall http://www.tracksideresults.com/omxa/class.asp?c=42&e=32&s=4

8-21-16 Jefferson county fair race - 2nd overall

My most current highlights are two second place finishes in the 25 plus class, and a third in open C. I went 2-2 in the first race, and I went 1-2 in the second race for the 25 plus. I placed 3rd in the 250C class and 5th in the open c class at the Guernsey County Fair Round 21 of the 2011 American Motosports Ohio County Fairs. I placed 2nd at our local track in one of the few races I made it to. I placed 12th at high point on national weekend at the amateur race in 2012. I was in 4th place about half the race, but the stamina wasn't there to hold it. I also raced there for the Loretta Lynn Area qualifier that year. I can't find the results, but was in the 20's in both classes. I placed 1st at a local track in the 250C, and next race there moved to the 250B and placed 1st. Also entered the open B that race and finished 2nd.
