Personal History

I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN SOUTHERN IDAHO WITH MY DAD, MOM, AND LITTLE SISTER. I AM IN FOURTH GRADE, AND AM A VERY ACTIVE KID.  I ENJOY TRYING NEW TRICKS ON MY SCOOTER, MAKING JUMPS FOR MY SCOOTER/BICYCLE, AND BUILDING TRACKS IN THE DIRT IN THE FIELD ACROSS THE STREET FROM MY HOUSE, AND RACING MY TRAXXIS RC TRUCKS.  I HAVE 2 DOGS NAMED SAMMY & ZEKE. SAMMY DOESN'T LIKE GOING TO THE TRACKS, BUT ZEKE GOES EVERY TIME!!  I'M PRETTY LUCKY THAT MY DAD OWNS HIS OWN TRUCKING COMPANY, AND DOES AS MUCH AS HE CAN TO MAKE HIS SCHEDULE WORK, SO I CAN RIDE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.  WE GO SOUTH TOWARDS NEVADA & CALIFORNIA IN THE WINTER AT LEAST TWO WEEKENDS A MONTH SO I CAN RIDE YEAR ROUND.  (MY DIRTBIKE JUST WONT GET THROUGH THE 2 FEET OF SNOW AT OUR HOUSE!!)  FOURTUNATLEY, MY SCHOOL IS NOW 4 DAYS A WEEK. SO IT MAKES IT A BIT EASIER TO RIDE MOST WEEKENDS, AND  MY MOM IS PRETTY GOOD AT MAKING SURE I GET ALL MY HOMEWORK DONE (EVEN @ THE TRACK, OR I CAN'T RIDE).

Riding Goals

Well, I am officially an 85cc rider!!  My 65s are sold, and with a great deal from the local Yamaha dealer, Northstar's Ultimate Outdoors, here in Idaho, I am the proud new owner of 2 YZ85s  I spent last weekend at St George MX Park in St George, UT getting use to it.  It was awesome!!  After some fine tuning from my dad, I was off and running.  I LOVE the power, and jumping is so much fun!!  I will be riding hopefully quite a bit this winter all over Utah, Nevada, and California getting lots of seat time and always improving.  I'll keep you posted.

Competitive Highlights

THE PAST 2 SEASONS I RACED THE WILD WEST NATIONAL SERIES, I HAVE FINISHED THE SERIES IN THE PEE WEE 4-6 CLASS IN 2ND PLACE!!  I RODE IN THE 2008 AND 2010 WORLD MINIS IN LAS VEGAS/MESQUITE, NV. THOSE WERE THE BIGGEST RACE I HAD EVER BEEN IN.  THERE WERE SOME REALLY FAST RIDERS, I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!  I HAVE ALSO RODE IN A COUPLE ARENA CROSSES, AND PLACED 1 ST IN ALL OF THOSE. (I REALLY ENJOY ARENA CROSS RACES)!!  LAST MARCH, I CRASHED ON A BIG JUMP IN MESQUITE, 2 WEEKENDS BEFORE THE FIRST WILD WEST 2009 SEASON RACE, AND I BROKE MY HAND.  LUCKILY IT WASN'T A REALLY BAD BREAK. THE STAFF AT THE MESQUITE, NV HOSPITAL TOOK GOOD CARE OF ME.  I WENT TO MY PEDIATRICIAN WHEN WE GOT HOME, AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS MY BROKEN BONE HAD ALREADY STARTED TO FUSE. MY DR (WHO IS WAY COOL) TOLD ME AS LONG AS I KEPT A BRACE ON IT TIL RIGHT BEFORE MY RACE, AND DID THE EXERCISES, HE SHOWED ME, I COULD RIDE IN THE SEASON'S 1ST RACE!!  MY DAD TAPED MY HAND AND OFF I WENT.  MY PARENTS TOLD ME TO DO MY BEST, AND IF IT HURT TOO BAD, I COULD PULL OFF.  HA!!!!   I SUPRISED EVERYONE, WHEN THE GATES DROPPED AND I PULLED A HOLESHOT!!  FINISHED 3rd.  NOT BAD FOR RACING WITH A BROKEN HAND.  Next big accomplishment was winning first place in the 2010 Utah State Championship Race on the las year of riding 50cc.  I got a trophy taller than me!!
