Personal History

My name is Wyatt Haenel, I am 16 years old and I have been racing for about 3 years now. With in those 3 years i have taught myself how to ride by watching other riders at the tracks. I am constantly learning new things and i am still moving up in my class. I finished the last 2 years in the top 5 of my class, only a few hundred points away from the top few spots. The highest i have placed over all is 3rd and im hungry for a 2nd and alot of 1st place trophies. During the summer I work on a farm but when I can, I get out and ride. Racing was always a dream of mine when i was younger but I just never got the chance to race. Now that I race i'm making up for lost time fast and don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.

Riding Goals

This year i'm hungry for a first place and with a new bike to help me get there. The first thing this year i'm going to try for is the Loretta Lynn Qualifier in Tigerton, Wisconsin. If I qualify for that, i'm going to the 5 day event in Tennesse, racing against the best im my class from across the US. As soon as the snow is gone, I plan on being on by bike everyday practicing at my track down the road. I want to be physically and mentally ready for the challange ahead of me.

Competitive Highlights

One of the best races i ever had was last year at Arkansaw, Wisconsin. Right off the line I had an amazing start and came out of the hole shot running 2nd or 3rd. I held that spot up until about half way through the 2nd lap. Unfortunately i wasn't able to get him back before the race was over.  I had many battles that race with alot of really good racers. Some I lost but most I won. I finished right about 4th over all, that was without a doubt the best race I ever had yet.
