Personal History

My name is Tammy Wood and I have been riding for over 20 years.  I am a Parole Officer for the State of Georgia and enjoy motocross as my favorite past time.

Although I have been riding for many years, I have just recently had the time to train seriously. A busy career of being a Parole Officer keeps my in shape gives me very little spare time, however, this year I decided motocross was going to be my top priority. I'm not going to miss out on what I love doing just because I work so much.

Right now I am riding a 2006 Honda CRF250R; it's my 7th motorcycle.  I usually ride once a week at Monster Mountain MX Park in Tallassee, Alabama.  I obtained my goal of the 2010 season and made to the Loretta Lynn Regional Qualifier.

Riding Goals

My goal for the 2011 year is to make to Loretta's big race and just get better each year.

I hope to get sponsors who will understand that I could represent them being a positive role model by proving that no matter how late you start, you can still be the best.
