Personal History
I am a 38 year old father of 7. 5 girls and twin boys. I am an only child and grew up racing BMX and MX. I became pretty accomplished on 60cc and 80cc. Taking wins against locals such as Tucker Hibbert and Adam Deal. Unfortunately I fell into drug and alcohol addiction at the age 16 and motocross became something of my past. I have since recovered from the horrors of addiction and reunited myself with motocross in 2020. I continue to try and give back to the community by coaching wrestling on a junior high and elementary level. As a recovering addict I also give back to others by trying to help others through the same things I’ve been threw. I have a natural focus on targeting kids.
Riding Goals
As for why I ride is simple. I jus t have a pure love for the sport as a whole! the family aspect, THE COMPETION, the mental focus and hard work, and freedom! My goal this year is to win the District 23 35+B championship this year. Realistically I’m top 5 in the state in my class and with hard work and consistency and fitness I can do it! My plan for the year is to race both the 25+B and 35+B classes with my main focus being on the 35+ but using the 25+ class to improve in and chase the kids. And whether or not I win this year will determine my next. If I win the B class championship I will move to the A class next year.
Competitive Highlights
As stated I started back up racing in 2020. I entered the 30+C and 35+C classes. Throughout the year I collected 10 overall wins and 11 podiums in the 35+ class and 6 overalls in the 30+. I was pretty dominant that year in the Vet C class but ended up tearing my MCL ended my season putting me in position #3 for the district in 35+ and 6th in 30+. I decided to move to the B class in 2021. Unfortunately I tore my ACL/Menescus early summer and was unable to put in a competive season. Although I did continue to race on my knee, recording 3 moto wins and 1 overall and 4 podiums in the 35+B class and 7th in the District.
