Personal History
I work for a construction company which can be pretty stressful. The only thing that keeps me from losing my my mind is going out and hitting the track. I didn't start racing until I was 18 years old and then I stopped when I was 22. Now I'm back and I am improving rapidly. I am getting ready to move up to amateur by next season. I love this sport and will never stop racing again.
Riding Goals
My goals in riding is to move to the amateur class by next season. I would like to try and qualify for Loretta Lynn's Amateur National in the plus 25 class. It is my dream to make it to the ranch and line up with the fastest amateurs in the country.
Competitive Highlights
My biggest highlight would be when I sprained my ankle in practice and I decided to race still. I was extremely nervous to the point that I stalled when the gate dropped and I had to kick the bike with my bad foot. After I got it started I managed to go from last place to making a pass on the last turn of the final lap for second place. That day was the day I found my ability to ride faster and stay loose. Since that day I have been winning or finishing in the top 5 every weekend.
