Personal History
My name is Nelson Williams and I am 9 years old. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 3yrs old. I have been racing since I was 4yrs old. My first bike was a Yamaha PW50 with training wheels. Once I was able to ride better a Canadian Pro that works with my dad at the Fire Station suggested that I go out to the local motocross club (MMRS) and try the motocross school that they where running. I was hooked. I upgraded to a KTM SX50 and began to race. In my first season saw some ups and downs but was all good. In my second season I was able to finish 3rd overall in the summer series and got a taste of the podium. In the next seasons I have collected 41 trophies and have made a lot of new friends in the process. In my spare time I enjoy watching Supercross and the Outdoor races on TV. I also play soccer and Hockey to stay in shape.
This season I also was a participant in the MX Stars of Tomorrow program at the Toronto International Motorcycle Supershow. This program was designed to help young MX riders attract sponsors.
Riding Goals
My riding goals this year is to finish 1st overall in the 65cc 7-9 class and to be a strong competitor in the 65cc GP class. I am also looking at buying an 85cc bike to start practicing on for the 2015 season.
