Personal History

I have been riding and racing motorcycles for only a short period of time since 2003.  I have 13 years of law enforcement experience in which I rode police motors.  Unfortunately I was involved in a serious accident on duty and was forced to retire from the department.  As you all know, motorcycles are beyond addicting and I still ride and race my dirt bikes.  I have progressed rapidly competing in AMA District 36 off road racing and Over The Hill Gang Vet racing.  I also tour on my cruiser and there is no better way to see the sceanery than on a motorcycle.  My wife and son also ride dirt bikes and we view the sport as a family affair.

In 2007 I had the honor of working for MDK Motorsports and was a temporary transport driver for the Canadian rounds of the World/AMA Supercross series in Toronto and Vancouver.  I transported bikes and equipment for David Vuillemen and Nick Wey while working closely with Steve Lamson, 2 time 125cc National Champion.  I have attended several motocross schools and clinics, one of which was instructed by Steve Lamson.  I traveled to Budds Creek in 2007 for the historic Motocross Des Nations and watched Team USA defeat the world.

I'm also an avid cyclist which greatly improves my performance on the dirt bike.  Having to be off the motorcycle in 2011, I raced Cyclocross and Mtn. Bike races to maintain my two wheel habit.

Riding Goals

Having just returned to riding after 15 months off due to a knee surgery and injuries I'm starting my training regimen.  I'm planning on racing the Over The Hill Gang national series along with regional races of both MX and off road.  Only riding for the past month, I have continually made progress towards my ability prior to my time off the bike.  I would like to be promoted to the Expert class by the end of this racing season.
