Personal History

I’m 20 years old and love to ride dirt bikes. I have been riding since I was 6 years old on a mini bike and have been shredding ever since. I started going to the track when I was 10 on a Yamaha YZ-85 and have always wanted to race. That dream finally came true in February 2019 when I entered the Academy Motocross Series at my home track, Fox Raceway at Pala. I was encouraged from an early age to learn good, safe riding skills on the track and in the desert. One of our friends worked at KTM racing and gave me behind the scenes tours of their headquarters and in the pits during a supercross event. It really helped motivate me to keep improving. I saved my money to buy a 2014 YZ-250 in January, so I entered the 250cc beginner class at the Academy series and in my very first race I placed 2nd. It was more fun than I imagined and I cant wait for more racing. I will continue to practice and race in the Academy series and other events in Southern California. I hope to find sponsors that can support me through my racing career. I have put in the hard work to get to this point and will continue working to move onward and upward!.

Riding Goals

My goals are to become a better rider and work my way up to bigger racing events through C class and eventually B class. I usually go to Pala to ride the vet or the main. I enjoy working on techniques that will improve my speed and confidence on the track. I also know it takes strength and stamina, so I lift and run to keep myself in good shape.

Competitive Highlights

My very first race was the Academy Motocross Series in February 2019. I remember the first start of my first moto. When the gates dropped, I got the hole shot and rode as best I could. I got 3rd my first moto and 2nd my second moto to tie up the points with 2nd overall. I plan to race in the Academy series monthly through June 2019. I’m making friends with other racers who are helping me find more local and regional race opportunities.
