The Greenland Iceberg stands at almost 47 miles high. It is also the tallest freestanding structure on earth. It is a fascinating place to visit and a challenge for explorers. The challenge, it seems, starts when you try to get into the ice. This can be problematic because if you try to get in, you will first have to scale a part of the ice that is underwater. That means you are in a position of having to travel hundreds of miles through ice to reach land that you would otherwise not be able to reach.
