Personal History

Hello, my name is Mason Lee Nitz. You can follow me on instagram @mason_nitz161. I was born and raised in Michigan. I’m currently living in Millington, Michigan, but I have also lived with my family in Silt, Colorado and Kauai, Hawaii. I am 15 years old and in the 9th grade. I started riding motorcycles at age 3. My first bike was a 2004 Yamaha PW50 with training wheels. I rode that for 2 years and graduated up to a 2003 KTM 50 Pro Senior. Upon returning from Hawaii, I started riding a Honda CRF80F. I practiced and learned on the Honda for about 2 1/2 years and then I started riding a 2009 KTM 85 XC. After about a year on my new bike, I started racing in AMA District 14 motocross in the summer of 2018. AMA rider #2272161. I now take lessons with a local pro rider, Mr. Lucas  Lowe. I also have a private training track on the property where I live. I am racing a 2022 & a 2021 KTM 125 SX. We go to Club MX in South Carolina every year to train for the outdoor season. I’m trying hard to further my career in the sport as far as I can go. I’m very thankful for family and sponsors who have helped me  along the way. I give GOD ALL THE GLORY for giving me the ability and the opportunity to ride always.

Riding Goals

I want to further my career within the sport to its fullest potential.

I hope to stay physically healthy all year.

My biggest goal is to make it to Loretta Lynn’s amateur nationals.

I’d like to sweep the Michigan State Championship Series on my 125.

I would like to make an impression at Mini O’s, maybe a top 10 finish.

I plan on pursuing more National races or strictly National races in the future.
