Personal History
Hi I'm Liam I enjoy racing dirt bikes in the Motorcycle Racing Association of Northern Nevada. I am a Junior at North Valleys High School near Reno NV. I have a 3.0 gpa and along with my regular studies I am taking a Metals 3-4 class where I am learning welding and metal working. I also enjoy skateboarding, playing the electric guitar, target shooting, camping with my family. Along with our racing we also try to participate in BLM clean up days to help keep our riding areas open. Lets face it, people dump their trash all over our trails.
On a different note, outside of riding and racing, I've actually taken up a hobby of writing. I'm in the process of writing a novel. I'm a little more than half way through the rough draft. I'm aiming to finish it by the end of the 2012 summer. I've had a ton of support from another one of my racing friends who wrote a novel and actually got it published! All my friends and family have been extremely supportive for all of my goals. Thanks to all of them!
Riding Goals
The goals I'm focused on for this 2012 season. I'm aiming to finish top three in my first year of the 200 Novice class. I've already test rode one of the races and i did pretty good for my first time. I was running in fifth place, but i crashed on a hill and broke my brake lever. If i win this series this year, then i'll be happy. Then move up to the next class and try to win that one! I have plenty of test rides with the new bike, so hopefully this first race in February will be fast and extremely fun! More fun than the Mini series. The next goal that would be ideal to accomplish would be to advance to the Amatuer class by the end of the season.
Competitive Highlights
Started racing 50's in the peewee class when I was 7 years old.
Finished my last season in the 50's in 3rd place overall and received a huge trophy.
Didn't do so great in the 65 class but started turning it around and was bumped to AM.
First year in the 100cc class I was very consistent and finished 9th overall and was bumped to AM.
Next year in the 100cc class I stayed consistent and finished 6th overall and top AM.
My last year in the 100cc class I was on my way to a top 3 overall but two dnf's due to bike failure took that goal away. I finished 6th overall again.
While racing my last season of the 100 class I also tested the waters in the big bike 200 class and had a top 5 overall finishing going until a crash slowed me down. Thats racing!
So far I have raced almost 100 race's in the Motorcycle Racing Association of Northern Nevada and have had only 3 dnf's and only one missed race all from bike failure.
