Personal History
As a 15 year veteran of the United States Navy, I have grown up riding motorcycles of all types. Starting at 8 years old I was on a Yamaha Enduro 80 and from there I have went on to ride cruisers, and sport bikes. Now I am back on the dirt bikes and this time getting out on the track and getting that thrill of racing. For the past 2 years I have been on a track crew with a local series and just being around the sport again has fueled my love and passion for it and has lead me to get back out there. I am riding a 2007 Kawasaki KX250 and I will be racing in the Vet 35+ class at the upcoming Alma Fall Championship Series this September through December, then in the Spring I will be riding either the True Beginner or Vet 35+ Class in the Best Of The South (BOSS) Series.
Riding Goals
Since I am just getting out there and actually racing, my first goal is to not drop the bike and get injuried, even though the whole saying its not if but when so I am expecting it at some point. My other goals are to actually will some races and maybe a series championship. If I ever had the chance to qualify for Loretta Lynn's that would just be the icing on the cake in a riding career.
