Personal History
Hello my name is Kenny Kenfield, I am a 13 year old boy. I'm in the 8th grade, and im pretty much a B average student. I live with my dad Alan, my sister Tiffany and my little dog Oscer in Brighton CO. I enjoy skate boarding, roller blading, BMXing, free running, and just hanging out with my girl friend Kelly, but i live to race motocross.I've only been racing for two years. I practice 3 to 4 days a week depending on weather. My home club is the RMXA, but i also run hare scrambles, winter combat in colorado springs, some tri state races, a few USRA races in utah, and this year I plan to race in the areana crosses.
Riding Goals
IN 2011, in the RMXA iI plan to race 250C, school boy, and open ameture. I've only been on my 250 for about four months, and at the end of last season I was finishing top five in these classes.I feel with lots of hard work, practice, the support of my family, and my sponsors I have a real shot at bringing home three championships this year.I would also like to run some of the national races this year to see how i compare.
Competitive Highlights
I started raceing when i was 12 in 2009 on my kx 85 In boys 12 to 16 first year racers. I raced 23 times, had 18 podiums, won both the 2009 RMXA and the district 25 championships. In this last year, 2010 I started out raceing 85s and super minis, half way through the year i was ranked 4th in 85s and 6th in super minis. when i had a groth spert and shot up six inches and twenty pounds it was time to get a 250. I raced 5 races and went from 155th place to 25th place in the points for the RMXA. The one tri state race I did on my 250 I took 1st both motos. Right now i'm running winter combat in colorado springs CO. I've raced two times, the first time i race i took first in the open ameture and took 4th in the novice. The second time I raced there I took 3rd in the open ameture and 2 in the novice. I'm really a 250 novice rider but, since winter combat is not an AMA race so i can ride up a class. I do it for seat time, and to prepare myself for the 250B class that I will race in the very near future.
