Personal History
Being raised in a racing family, I was exposed at a young age to the many elements and emotional highs and lows involved in racing. I’ve had the privilege of competing across the country since the age of 5. An athlete at heart, I take training very seriously, and understand the dedication this sport demands. I thrive on competition and the challenge of continually improving and honing my skills. My years of experience taught me many things; however, this is paramount; the combination of a commitment to training, hard work, and setting goals with a willingness to tackle even the most intimidating of challenges is key for racing success. In 2006, I married my best friend and shifted focus to establishing my mowing business. This required me to place racing on hold, but I remained close to the sport in other ways. Recently, I began a business with my father, “the barn builds”, where we take older bikes and fully restore them to their original glory. In doing this, I have rekindled the racing flame. At almost 40, I can once again dedicate my time and energy to the sport with a new goal; making it back to Loretta’s in the plus 40 class.
