Personal History

Hi!  My name is Keegan ( Kae Rae), and I am 10 years old.  I have a lot of activities and interests that keep me busy outside of school.  In the warmer months, when I am not at the track with my step-dad, I play on a competitive co-ed lacrosse team with "boy rules." That means it is full contact.  A lot of people underestimate me because I am a girl and I am small.  But, I don't let that discourage me.  I am fast, aggressive, and I like to win.  In the winter, you'll find me shredding pipe or the park on my snowboard.  I have been snowboarding for 5 years and I love spending cold winter days on the mountain.

I am super lucky because everyone in my family supports me and my activities.  And that means I have a lot of support!  My mom and step-dad make sure I have all the gear I need for the dirt and snow, while my dad and step-mom make sure I am outfitted for the turf.  I am a pretty lucky kid.

I'm also pretty lucky because my family makes sure I stay focused on school and other things that are important like friends and family. I get to travel and have been to Mexico and Hawaii on surf trips.  Plus, my family says it is important to be well rounded so I get to play guitar too!  I have been playing for almost a year and I am starting to write my own songs.  My favorite song to play right now ACDC's "TNT". And I AM dyn-o-mite!

Riding Goals

The 2016 season has been a "foundation focused" year.  My step-dad says the fundamentals are the most important part so we have been spending a lot of time on my KTM 50sx pro-senior working on body positioning, pumping, landing, and leaning the bike.  The hard work has paid off because at the beginning of August I moved up to a KTM65sx.  I'm excited about racing in a new class and standing on the podium.

For the 2017 season, I am looking forward to a full season of racing and my goal is to finish on the podium in each of my races.  I know this will take a lot of hard work, and a little luck, but I am a competitor.
