Personal History
My name is Joshua Childers. I am 23 years old. I've been around motocross since i was 10. I first got a bike when i was 13, it was an old beater 95 yamaha yz 125. I would ride out behind my dads house on state land. A lot of my buddies race and i have always gone to the track on the weekends with them, and tried to help make adjustments to the bike and help them throughout the weekend with whatever they need. If it were changing air filters, making adjustments to the suspension, changing tires, whatever it was i would help. They would repay me by letting me ride their bike at practices, or private tracks. I have a 4 year old daughter which has made it hard to buy a bike. She loves being around the sport. Well this winter i finally bought a bike and plan on starting my racing career this spring at local tracks. Racing as much as i possible can.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are just to have fun and do the best that i possibly can every weekend. I plan on racing the district 14 motocross championship in the open c class and possibly non current. My goal is to take top 5 in open c. I also want to try and qualify for loretta Lynn's. I have some work to do to get to that point but trying won't hurt.
