Personal History

My name is Jeremy Abney. I have been around the motocross scene for over 20 years now. I took a break from the competitive scene in 2005 when my son was born. He started racing in 2010 and in 2012 I bought another bike to compete on. I tried in 2013 to make it to Lorettas, but a crash in final moto at the regional knocked me out of qualifying spot. I decided to go to the AMA national that year and won the +35 class and finished 2nd in the +30 class. I took 2014 off because of some bike issues so I have no results for that year. March 2015 I bought a new yz450 and I'm ready to get back on that starting line! This isn't easy without good sponsors so please come join me!

Riding Goals

I will be racing myself back into shape in 2015! I plan on competing in the NMA national in Norman Oklahoma and the AMA national in Ponca City. Hopefully, I can add some titles to my resume after those! I turn 40 in Sept and I am really excited about 2016! I will be competing in as many nationals as possible and I will make it to LL2016!!

Competitive Highlights

I haven't competed in over 8 years now, but I know I still have what it takes to be a front runner. In 2002, I won a GNC National Championship @ Mosier Valley in the +25B class and followed that up with a 2nd place at the Branson Fall National. Throughout my career, I have had national podium finishes at Ponca City, Lake Whitney, Mosier Valley and Branson. I won a national championship in 2013 in the +35 class at Ponca City and finished 2nd in the +30 class!
