Personal History
I'm 26 years old, I work construction as a carpenter going on 8 years. I've been riding and racing dirtbikes since I was 5 years old. I now have a 2 year old boy who's life is now revolving around motorcycles as well. For me I work to ride and get out pretty religiously every week. I race hillclimb and sprinkle in some moto races and practices when it fits around the hillclimb schedule. Then around that trying to get little man going on the strider and getting out on my pedal bike with the local bicycle shop in the mean time. I'm 3 years sober now, replaced bad habits with as. Much riding as possible.
Riding Goals
I'll be very honest, since I was a kid the only thing I ever cared about was my dirtbike and motorcycles myself. Never got much into school sports, as I got older and into adulthood, I fell into somewhat of a wrong crowd with people who didn't have the same morals as I did, spent a few years not doing almost any riding besides hillclimbing, up until about 3 years ago I decided to get myself a new bike again, I picked up a new to me 18 yz 450 and decided I was going to make up for lost time and hit the track as much as I possibly could. I ended up meeting a bunch of good friends who do have that drive, now they are my best friends and I almost totally live for the weekends at the track. Just recently before Christmas, I picked up my first brand new bike ever, a special edition 24 Yz 450.Having my little guy looking up to me and having a solid group of friends changed my life. My goals for next year are to chase another national championship on my Cr 500 and try and chase a few more district championships, try and train more seriously on the moto bike and get to the top of my local B classes and try to get a win or 2 in moto this summer.
