Personal History
My name is Gauge Huey and I am 9 years old. I started riding when I was one and racing when I was three. I compete locally, regionally, and nationally in motocross, arenacross and snocross along with my dad and younger brother. My dad was an expert motocross racer and Pro-Am snocross racer. My mom even raced when she was younger. I am currently a brand ambassador for Throttle addict. Last year was my first year in the 65cc class. This year will be my first year in the 85cc class. We try to ride at least three times a week. We have our own private practice facility. When we aren’t riding or racing I like fishing, BMX, paint ball, go carting, baseball, basketball and football.
Riding Goals
My plan for this year is to just get comfortable with my new 85. Usually we focus on trying to qualify for Loretta’s but this year we are going to run the D6 Henrietta classic series. We are also planning on competing at the Budds Creek, Unadilla, and High Point nationals on amateur day. Over the winter we will be attending Mini Os and Daytona. So my goal for this year is to get as much seat time as I can, stay safe, injury free and see how my results progress throughout the season.
