Man it's been a while since I posted in here, and I greatly apologize. I added all of the Vintage race dates for this year in the schedule, hopefully I'll be able to make it to all of them. I do plan on racing non-current and Open C, as well as various practice sessions. I don't have concrete dates for those, though.
Also, I recently picked up a 1989 Honda CR500 that I plan on turning into an Eric Geboers 1989 RC500 replica! I'm hoping that will be ready to go sometime around the start of the season, but we'll see. I'll be posting pictures of the build as time goes on

Added about 35 more photos of the season, that's all I had left. The 2015 season is unfortunately over, but I cannot wait for 2016!

Just uploaded 9 pictures going over the past few races. I should be able to get MANY more at the VMX banquet, which if I remember correctly, is November 7th. Got a new rear brake cable in for the 500; just need to install it and go over a few things and it'll be good to go! I'm hoping to make the races at Freelin MX this coming Sunday. I'll race Non-Current, and possibly Open C. I'm going to have to play that by ear.
Also, if anybody is interested, I've been on Instagram for a while now under the username DirtRider500R. I'm usually pretty good about tagging everybody, but I just wanted to throw that out there if anyone wanted to 'follow' me.

Went to Bulldogs on Sunday for another VMX race. Lemme tell you what, I had all sorts of issues. Snapped my rear brake cable before the first moto while trying to adjust it, which left me without a rear brake for the rest of the day. The track is VERY deep sand/ silt, so even looking at the front brake the wrong way meant you lost the front end. Because of that I had to be extremely trepidatious, so I had to ride much slower than I would've liked. Ordered in a NOS brake cable today, should be here early next week. I plan on going out to Freelin MX that weekend to race Non-Current and possibly Open C.
Also ordered in some new gear from Spy Optic and O'Neal, which should be here soon. Thanks guys!

Man, sure has been a while since I've posted on here. My apologies. Lots has been going on; got cleared to start racing again in August, go picked up by ProCircuit (thanks guys!), and have been slowly getting my speed back after my most recent injury (broken elbow). This past weekend at Polka Dots I did quite a bit of chassis tuning and was able to fix my front tire push issue as well as my lack of feel in the rear tire. Now the bike turns like a dream! (For a 80's CR500). Only have two more events this year until the season is over, unfortunately. I'm hoping I'll be able to travel a little and get some practice in over the winter.

Well, I got hurt again. 4th of July evening I was riding my street bike back from a friends house when I got hit by a drunk driver. Both the bike and I went flying over the car in the wreck, and I broke my elbow in the process. Had surgery on it (my elbow) yesterday -7/715- and I have about a 6-8 week recovery. I should be able to ride at Sandbox MX at the end of August, but I'll be "riding" more than racing. Pictures of my arm, as well as the totaled street bike should be uploaded here shortly

Just got back from Freelin MX today for the vintage races. Took second the first moto, had a tip over in the second moto and ended up taking third. I got third place overall. Pictures and video will be coming soon.

Bombed out to Baja Acres for practice today. Got the fuel and electrical issues sorted, but the crank drive bolt decided it wanted to play peek-a-boo through the ride case cover. It'll be down for a while until I can get it fixed... Hopefully it'll be done in time for practice at Freelin MX on June 7th. Also, had another issue with the throttle sticking (didn't break my back this time!)

Went to Portland Trail Riders yesterday for the second VMX race of the season. Had a number of fuel and spark issues with the 86' CR500, causing me to be unable to finish both motos. I'm hoping that those issues are now all fixed

The practice at Big Air fell through, ended up going to Twisted MX in Milan instead. The races at Bulldogs MX. I rode our 'buddy bike' (CRF150F) for the first moto and ended up popping a tube. Second moto one of the other vintage riders let me borrow his 1973 Yamaha YZ250. That bike is a whole other world of different, and I certainly have a LOT more respect for the guys that still race them. Hopefully the 500 will be ready for the race on May 10th at Portland, I'm still waiting on suspension to be finished up.

The 1986 CR500 rebuild is coming along relatively slowly, all of my funds have recently been going towards a truck I just bought (no sense in having a race bike if you can't get it to the track!!) I plan on going to Freelin tomorrow with my Boss; I'll be acting as his mechanic. I should hopefully be able to get some track time on his 2014 CRF450R. I'll post pictures and video when I'm able!

Updated the D-14 VMX schedule. I do plan on doing OpenB/C, though I am currently unsure what races I will be going to. Hoping to make all of the vintage races though!

A LOT of stuff has been going on; recently got new number plate back grounds from Factory Backing (thanks!!!) and I've also been working on restoring the ol' 1986 Honda CR500. At this point in time, all I need are rims/spokes, tires, paint, and a few other misc. things.
Also, I'm going to be flagging the Detroit SX races this coming March!! I'll do what I can to represent all of you sponsors, but Monster SX has a strict set of rules as to what can and cannot be worn by the flaggers. I'm going to have to play that by ear.

I admit, it's been far too long since my last update. My back has healed, for the most part, from my crash back in August. I've recently been asked to help organize, start, and run a motorcycle shop/ dealership here in Pinckney, Michigan! That's kept me extremely busy; as has restoring the 1986 Honda CR500. If everything plays out the way it should, I should be going down south (around the Carolinas) once a month this winter to practice (on the CR500) with the person that asked my help with the motorcycle shop. I do also have some video from my first ride on the track after I broke my back. It should hopefully be uploaded soon

Well guys, turns out I broke my back on 8/3/14 in a hard crash. I'll probably be out for the rest of the season. Thank you Leatt, ASV, Pirelli, O'Neal, and SPY for your support this racing season. I deeply hope we can be partners again next year!!!

Gear from O'Neal came today. I am SUPER impressed with the new RDX boots!! Fantastic quality and fit. Won't be able to make it to Bulldogs on the 18th due to mechanical problems. Shooting for the races next Sunday at Baja Acres.
