Personal History
MY name Is Edward Christain Quimby IV i have been riding since i was 4. i did some races on and off on a 1989 RM 80 when i was twelve then i got a 2003 Suzuki RM 125 at the age of thirteen and did a couple races. unfortunatly with finances being an issue i was never able to completely run a full season till 2007. I saved up and bought my 2001 KTM 250sx That got me the 250 Novice Championship and put me up to Amateur. The season of 2008 i got a new 2008 KTM 250 sxf i was confident and wanted to win the whole amature points but unfortunatly i ended up blowing up the bike the last three races.. a recall on the KTM my luck.. so i overalled 4th instead. Now this year i have been training hard and started out ok but finances caught up to me quick.... soon im hoping back in when i get a little more backing in the next week or so. Racing has been my life and i want to pursue it as far as i can. I started late but i want to try to full fill my dream. I will do anything for this sport and i have put everythign i have in me into this. This is my life and i love every minute of it!!
Riding Goals
This year i am planning on riding out the season and going expert in August. Then planning opn moving to CA to keep going as far as i can.
Competitive Highlights
I would have to say Supercross has been alot of fun and it was a blast winning. also walking out to claverack not knowing the track and placing a 4th i was stoked about that boosted my confidence.
