Personal History
My name is Chasten Hecht, born and raised in Southern Illinois. I am currently in the Marine Corps and am stationed in Jacksonville NC, I started racing in the winter of 2015 and had a pretty season the past couple years. I ride a stock 2015 KX250F. Being in the military and trying to chase your dreams of becoming a sponsored racer is hard, definitely hard to find anyone to sponsor you around all these corn fields. I just plan on doing my best and keep training and racing until one someone notices my talent and will help me the rest of way.
Riding Goals
To start off with I plan on winning the NC championships 250c class and see if I have what it takes moving up to B and A class, I have put a ton of effort into training when I'm not working or deployed and have a couple tracks where I live that let when come out and ride whenever I want to get some practice in, and I want to accomplish my dreams and winning at Loretta Lynn's ranch.
Competitive Highlights
Over the past couple years I have had a couple of podium finishes and I placed 7th in the NC championships in 2015 and won a couple of races 2016 when I got back from a deployment.
