Personal History

When I when I was nine months old the doctor was feeling my stomach and discovered my spleen was twice the size that it should be. After going through about two years of testing, including bone marrow testing, it was discovered that I had Autoimmune Lymphoproliferative Syndrome or ALPS for short. ALPS is a rare genetic disorder of the immune system causing enlarged spleen, lymph nodes and liver. Due to my enlarged spleen the doctors recommends that I should not play or participate in any physical sports. By being part of a case study through the National Institute of Health, we were able to find the right medicine to help me live a normal live I will be on the medication for the rest of my life but get to be a normal person. Bring on the dirt bike. When I was around 8 years old, my dad brought home a Honda 50 dirt bike. I rode that bike around the backyard non-stop. They could not get me off the bike. I fell in love. After going out to the local track with a close family friend, I was introduced to motocross racing. From that point on there was no going back. My love for dirt bikes and racing grew. The Honda 50 turned into a Yamaha 110 that turned into a Honda 150 and Honda 250.  I can not wait to see what the future holds for me on and off the track.

I would like to be involved in motorcross/supercross racing.   Either on or off the track.  I love the whole envirnoment and love racing and learning how to go faster.
