Personal History

I’m 26 years old and have been back into riding since 2017 and started racing in 2018. I grew up on dirt bikes from the age 5 till I was around 13-14 years old. I was just a trail rider and hill climber at that time. I got out of dirt bikes for a while, due to working trying to make money while in school. I wished I never stopped riding and started racing sooner, but that’s the past. Since I started racing at the beginning of 2018 I have been pushing myself harder and harder trying to make improvements everywhere. I don’t get as much seat time or practice as I want while working a full time job doing bridge repair work all over Ky. It forces me to be on the road away from home a lot, but it’s not stopping me from trying to reach my goals as a racer. I’m married to the love of my life and honestly couldn’t do this without her. We have one 18 month old little girl who loves dirt bikes and watching them at races or on tv and another little girl due June 1st.

Riding Goals

My goals as a rider and racer is to continue improving my riding skills little by little. I know I’ll never be a pro, but I will push myself as far as possible and I will be competitive in whatever class I’m in year to year. I plan on improving my cornering speed and ability this year, which will help me a lot. My goal this year in OXCR is to finish top three in the championship points in my class. My goal for the Tennessee knockout race in August is to make it past both amateur races on that Saturday. Other goals is to race as many as possible GNCC and NEPG races this year and one year start running on of them two series.

Competitive Highlights

I’ve placed a number of top 3 positions last year in OXCR and a 1st in the last round in intermediate heavy class. I had some other good runs, but came up short in two races, due to having to pull out because of wheel problems. I started the 2018 OXCR series running what they call a two stroke class on my old 2017 husqvarna TC250 setup for woods. It is a mix of A, B, and C riders. Up till around round 4 I was running 2nd in points with a chance at 1st still. That’s when my kick start idler gear broke off the case in my engine. That forced me to miss the next few rounds of two stroke class, due to engine cases being on back order. That killed my chance in points. I ran one round while waiting on engine cases on my brothers 2011 yz450f in the novice heavy class placing 4th. Finally got my TC250 fixed and raced one round of NEPG to get a feel for it and how it was laid out. I ran the C 250 class placing 2nd only 7 seconds away from 1st. After that I traded bikes and got a 2017 husqvarna FX350 that I love! I raced the last round of OXCR on it in the Intermediate heavy class. After being last off the line from not use to E-start I placed 1st.
