Personal History

My name is Cameron Morrow. I am 25 years old, married, with one child. I am also a United States Marine Veteran. I served two tours in Afghanistan. I grew up racing competitively in the motocross industry. Once I joined the military that basically brought my Motocross Career to a halt. My last race was in 2011 at New Bern, NC.  A track called Crystal Coast MX. Home track to Cooper Webb, I rode with him quite a few times while he was on supermini's. My highlights were competing multiple times at 3 Palms Mx in Conroe, Tx during their national events. I raced for Sewell Marine and Suzuki for the Suzuki Amateur Nationals in 2005 - 2007. Placing top 4th in 85 14-15 age group and top 5 in Supermini class against riders like Blake Wharton. I was in the process for qualifying for Lorettas in 2007. I made it to regionals at Freestone Tx. While we were riding good, during Moto 1 we wrecked and could not save a qualifying position. Shortly after is when I joined the Marines.

Riding Goals

I just purchased a brand new 2012 yz 125. My goal is to start competing locally again. And if I see that I still have the speed I did then I will try to compete on a national level. I would like for my son who is 3 to see his dad compete and realize that no dream is ever dead. Although I am aware that going to a professional level is far from real, it could pave a path for my son to make it to that level.

Competitive Highlights

Ive raced locally and regionally. Ive raced Multiple Suzuki Amateur Nationals for Sewell Marine and Suzuki. I placed 5th in the Supermini class in 2006, pulling the whole shots both moto's against riders Blake Wharton and Lance Vincent. In 2007 I was running 8th in 125 B class at the freestone Regional qualifier race. In Moto 1 we wrecked with another rider causing me to DNF. Moto 2 was much better finishing top 12 with a bad start. I have raced countless local races through out the years and look forward to watching my son rise to the challenge as well.
