Personal History
I started riding consistent in 2012 after i got home from a deployment to afghanistan on a WR450. I rode that for about a year until I moved to Maine where I met some guys at the local shop North Country Powersports. After talking to them about the types of riding around the area I learnd that most people around here ride on the track. I thought it over for a while and decided to sell the WR and I bought my KX450f. In 2012 I started riding on the track and racing. I raced 2 races and placed last and second to last in a 17 bike race. The 450 C class. Over the winter I did some work on my bike and then as soon as the snow was gone I was back riding, at least 2-3 times a week. I entered in my first and only J Day race at Crow Hill MX in Mass. It was a 47 man gate and in two motos I was able to get a 20th and a 19th for a 18th place overall. I have since only been racing at a local track, my worst finish was a 6th of 14 so far this year.
Riding Goals
I would like to continue to improve, I ride as much as work will allow and I cross train with mountain bikeing, running and weight training. The guys that I ride with are some of the fastest in the North east, and I am able to train at a couple different tracks. I hope to be a compettitive B class rider by the end of next season.
