Personal History
My name is Avram Alexzander Rivas AKA “Zander”, I recently turned twelve years of age and live in El Paso, Texas. I started my love for bicycles at the age of five when I competed in BMX and have been racing motocross since the age of seven starting in the Arena Cross. I am now actively racing in the 65cc, 10 and 11 class locally at Moto Xball in El Paso, Texas and Tulie MX in Alamogordo, New Mexico. In this short time I have accomplished to win the first place championship in my age group and second place in the open class at Moto Xball. In Tulie MX I came in fourth last season in my age group and I am currently in first place in my age group for the season and third in the open class. I am chasing my goal to race at Lorretta Lynn’s this coming season. I am a sixth grade student maintaining A’s and B’s and have accomplished many awards and recognitions, with my most recent accomplishment of competing in an International Robotics competition represent my school. I am also a certified black belt in Taekwondo. Along with cycling and Taekwondo I keep up in the best fit shape for motocross and helps me with my focus to achieve my goals. I practice four times a week and race three to four times a month. My long term goal is to go pro and compete in world class arenas and tracks all over the country.
Riding Goals
My goals are to win the points championship in my age group this season in the ten and 11 age group. I also Want to start racing in the 85cc open class to improve on my 65cc riding skills making me faster. My biggest riding goal is to go to Lorretta lynns .
Competitive Highlights
Racing locally at Moto xball El Paso, Tx 1St place in points age group 10 and 11. I am currently in first place points at Tulie Mx in Alamogordo, Nm.
