Personal History
My name is Anjel Avitia , I'm 30 years old. I have lived in the High Desert nearly all my life. I have rode dirt bikes off and on for a while non competitively. I received and athletic scholarship for college and did not ride bikes for 5 years. I completed College and moved back to my home town and began working, and I started to ride again with some friends that race at a high level. Colby Begin, Nick Burson got me back out there and riding again. I have been racing AMA District 37 and the USDR series and I am loving it. I am looking to make more recesses and become more active in each series. I am an avid rider that rides at least once a week and make every race that is close to my house. I also make a few races that are some distance away.
Riding Goals
This year I am racing the USDR and the AMA District 37 2010 race series. The goals for this year is to compete in all the local events and finish in the top 10% of each race so that i can move up to the Ammie class. I would also like to try a few MX events and if i enjoy them as much as desert.
Competitive Highlights
I have only been racing for two years but some highlights for me is that i have only DNF two races and have completed all the AMA national hare and hounds that i have competed in.
