Personal History

Well I start with saying that I'm 24 years old, and married to my lovely wife Valerie and I'm currently exapecting my 1st child. I currently rent a 2 bedroom house in Owen Sound Ontario. I graduated from the Environmental Technology ( 3 years ) at the Georgian College in Barrie Ontario, and yes I'm one of those students that owes about $30,000 to the bank for school.

I currently work in Owen sound at the sewage treatment plant and my wife is a kindergarten teacher at the local school in town.

Ive ridden dirtbikes, four wheelers, snowmobiles, and pretty much any thing with a motor all my life. I didn't start racing motocross until I was 21. My first race every was at RJ moto sports and I had never even riden on the track before. I had watched the guys on the tv race and figured it didn't look that hard. Boy was I wrong; not only did I finish dead last in both motos but I also thought I was gonna die from lack of cardio that I do. I was also riding a 1990 cr 250.

about 2 years later I purchased my 2003 Honda cr250 and I started going to the track more regularly. After a long cold winter in the greater depth of Canada, a new season of motocross had begun (2013). After much needed cardio training, my first event was at RJ moto sports, where I won both my races. After winning the next event at moto park, I then was moved up to the next class ( junior ) by the CMRC. The happiest feeling in the world was when I received my $5 plastic trophies  for the first time ever.

My biggest accomplishment in 2013 was when I competed in the Motopark motocup series event which was 4 rounds in total. I competed in the 250B and 450B classes and after much hard work and good will power, I was able to win the series in the 250B class and 2nd in the 450B class.

shortly after winning this event in July, I was practicing at Motopark, and I had made a mistake while riding and went over the handle bars of the bike. After long hours at the hospital, I learned that I had torn my AC ligament in my left shoulder.

The end of September has rolled around and decided to get back on the bike after a speedy recovery.

Now I return to gym over the long cold winter in preparation for the up coming season in April. This also gives me lots if time to rebuild and baby my dirtbike to which is located in our basement.

Riding Goals

My biggest goal of all time on a dirt bike is to successfully learn to whip and scrub the dirt bike.

My goal for the upcoming 2014 MX season is to compete in all the national events and to qualify for the Walton raceway transcan national in August.
