Personal History

From: Streator, IL
Riding Since: 2000

Started getting back into riding in 2011. Always had a dirt bike growing up -- but have stepped it up a lot since I was kid. Started out by doing a little trail riding -- for fun -- then tried a hare scramble - and ran a couple club promoted races -- and I'm hooked - I am not in for the pure fun of it all, I am in in it for the adrenaline rush the competition gives. It is great to meet new people out there too - its such a family oriented sport - more than people really know or see.

Highlights
Getting my kids a bike -son - and keeping my son staying in tune with it. He is raced last in local HS races -- and local club events he loves it -- seeing him bring home a plaque or trophy after each race awesome - wish his dad could do the same.

Always enjoyed 2 wheels growing up -  as I got older it faded away with life.

Prior to getting married - picked up a KLX250R - rode with friends  got the itch again. Once married again priorities set in - sold the bike - to help with purchasing a house, and start a family.

Years later - got the itch - bought a quad- NOPE didn't like it - 2011 traded it in on myKX250F. Joined a local riding club, tried a Hare scramble.

My itch has been scratched - got my kids a JR50 .  Training wheels - and O my lot of fun - daughter lost interest. Son keeping after it - Currently is on KTM 50sx and races at club and local Hare scrambles. Has KX65 awaiting the transition :)

I have been racing now since 2012.

2015 I finished 2nd overall at my local club in OPEN class -  4th Overall in our 30+ class  - District 17 40+ B Grand Prix Series finished 5th overall in the District.

2016 planning on moving out of the 30+ C in HS and going the 40+ B
