Company Updates

Rockwell’s Sean Borkenhagen braved the strong winds, rain, and dust at last weekends Hart & Huntington Privateer Supercross Challenge and took the win along with the $3,000 cash prize and an elite Gold/Black Duel Time Rockwell timepiece.  Sean transferred directly to the main after winning the first heat and with the win, came a chance to ride in the Dash for Cash against fellow Rockwell rider Kyle Partridge, Tony Gallo, and Hunter Hewitt. Partridge ended up winning in the Dash for Cash, however a bad start in the main event would regulate him to a 2nd place finish.  Borkenhagen rode his own race out front during the main and with his smooth style, took the win against some of the best privateers in the country.“This weekends Heart & Huntington Privateer Challenge was a fun and successful event for me! That was a really cool event they put on. I felt really good all day out there even through the windy conditions.  Not only was it really nice to get some good cash and a badass Rockwell watch, it was really good gate time and race practice in preparation for the 2011 Supercross season. I’m just going to keep my head down and work hard and apply what I brought to the track this weekend to the season that lays ahead,” says Borkenhagen of the race. The Rockwell crew was in full force at the Privateer Challenge, race semi and all.  Rockwell Team riders Landen Powell, Jason Potter, Parker Eckman, and Gray Davenport were on hand to grab their share of the $10,000 pro purse.  Mistakes and some bad luck kept Eckman and Davenport from qualifying into the main however both Potter and Powell made the cut and finished 7th and 10th, respectively.  Potter was running 4th for most of the main but a last lap crash dropped him back a few positions. When asked about the weekend, Landen Powell remarked, “It was awesome to get on a gate with the guys we will be racing once the season
